Charmaine was born into an artistic family. Her mother, a well-known sculptor in England and grandmother an artist in Rhodesia, grew up with love and appreciation for art. Once her three children were living their own lives, she pursued her great love - art. Charmaine studied under a number accomplished South Africa artists and received ongoing mentorship from Errol Boyley. This gave her an excellent grounding and much inspiration which is reflected in her dramatic skies, dreamy farmland scenes and expansive landscapes.
Today Charmaine's work is exhibited throughout South Africa and can be found in a number of private collections across Europe and Asia.
