Sandi Beukes' latest collection is a journey along the Camino de Santiago - the pilgrimage routes winding through Spain and Portugal which ends at the shrine of Saint James in the Santiago de Compostela cathedral. With her love of bygone times Sandi brings to life the pilgrimage in the medieval era. Her interest in Mexican retablos (colourful, devotional paintings) is a clear influence in these paintings.
